Sea level pressure QFF / Geop. height
This map displays observed atmospheric pressure and, for higher elevation sites, the geopotential height of the nearest standard pressure level (1000mb, 925mb, 850mb, 700mb, or 500mb). Geopotential height is a more accurate depiction of the relative high or low pressure of a high elevation station than an algorithm that attempts to correct for altitude. Areas with higher than normal pressure or geopotential heights generally have calm weather while lower than normal pressure/heights indicate an increased likelihood of inclement weather.
